About Us

What we do
Enterprise For Life® is a force for good that has the individual at the heart of all its activities. We deliver people-focused skills training and social value projects that help communities stimulate economic growth and wellbeing. Working with longstanding channel partners, we bring communities together, raise aspiration and stimulate growth through education, employment, self-employment, and volunteering. Our work with projects spans four pillars:

  • Consulting
  • Training
  • Events
  • Funding
Where we work

We have worked on projects that have helped government, corporate and third sector organisations to support their people. Some of these initiatives have gone on to become independent operations or social enterprises.

In all of the projects you’ll see a theme; education, enterprise and community.

  • Female Founders
  • Ethnic minority businessowners
  • Economically inactive people
  • Individuals transitioning out of the Armed Forces, Emergency Services, and Public Service
  • Displaced communities
  • Those leaving the custodial system
"A passionate commitment to promoting better health, wellbeing, and economic outcomes for people and communities across the UK lies at the very heart of my work over the last two decades."

Imagine If...

The genesis of Enterprise For Life and our 2012 manifesto lie in the philosophy of ‘Imagine If’.

We invite you to Imagine if…

Success was certain

At least almost certain. Imagine if we can bottle the formula of success in one community to benefit another.

Giving back was rewarded

Imagine if we created a social value innovation fund for businesses that choose to ‘give back’ to the community.

Borders were not barriers

Imagine if we accelerated strategic importing and exporting globally.

Gaps were filled

Imagine if skills shortages could be solved with intrapreneurship.

Happiness was measured

Imagine if we index the difference that health, wellbeing and confidence makes to the bottom line.

Investment was improved

Imagine if, through enterprise, investment positively shifted one decimal point. It could mean billions to the economy.
